| BEETER RACING |

| The Beeter Racing Team had a very good night of racing, thank god!!. We were beginning to wonder as the last two times we've raced was not real great. Because of the wreck in turn 3 & 4 with both our cars we had lots to do to get ready for this week. We also were getting ready for Brock's Graduation on race day too!! I of course had graduation under control as long as Brock showed up on time for the party and Graduation, I did not care what he did otherwise. Brock also had baseball regional tourament starting on Monday in Williston. They won 2 games on Monday and the rest got rained out so because we were the only team to win 2 games we get to go to state. Brandon began Monday with rain so no work for Brothers Construction which Brandon was relieved so he could start working on race cars. He started with Brock's and found it not to bad, just some frame work on the front and some brackets to be fixed and we thought he was good to go. So now he started on his car. He found the rear end bent pretty good. We called to order another one and it couldn't be here in time. So we headed to Chad at Minot Welding to have him straighten the axels and then to Ryan Sebo to straighten the rear end. It worked so Brandon could put his car back together. By Thurs evening Brandon's car was ready. Now for Brock we ended up going to Sebo again and he helped pull the frame. That went well but when we went to start putting things back into the car, thing were not going so well. Bernie had to do some of his magic to get things to work. We also need to thank Corey Hochsprung for giving us a bumper for Brock. On Saturday evening Brock arrived just in time for the graduation party but Brandon was still a working on Brock"s car. When the party was over Bernie and Uncle Gary Beeter went to working on it again. Sunday morning after church they went to finish, hoping to be done in time for Graduation at 2:00pm. Well that didn't work but Brock & Bernie came to go but Brandon & Uncle Gary and whoever else was there kept working. Bernie realized at noon that Brock's transmission was broke and holding in the by one bolt so we had to change transmissions. By 3pm Sunday Brock's car was ready to go. We left graduation at 4:30pm, Brock and Bernie were at the track about 5 minutes before hot laps and the rest is history. 47mom48 |
